Jake Bugg is keeping RCA Records busy after signing to the label last year, and has released another new single this week.

All I Need finds Bugg backed by the Urban Flames choir, and follows other new tracks including Kiss Like The Sun and Saviours Of The City which have flowed from the Nottingham songwriter during the past year. “All I Need is about a moment of satisfaction or clarity,” he says.

“A feeling that comes when you are completely engaged in what you are doing, however you arrived there.”

Despite this run on new material, Bugg’s last full length release remains 2017’s Hearts That Strain album, ‘a brave, ultimately successful move’ according to Live4ever’s review:

“The rockabilly tendencies of Bugg’s early work seem to have mellowed into a more classic sound,” our review reads. “Not even alt-country like all the kids are doing these days; this is the proper stuff. There’s hints of Merle Haggard or Conway Twitty and so on. Very slight hints, but hints nonetheless.”
