Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong will put his YouTube covers series No Fun Mondays out on November 27th as a 14-song collection.

Like many others, Armstrong has spent lockdown time on things he wouldn’t otherwise had found space for, No Fun Mondays churning out new versions of tracks such as Gimme Some Truth, Police On My Back and Manic Monday since it was launched on Green Day’s YouTube channel back in March.

“While we’ve all been in quarantine I’ve been reflecting on the things that matter the most in my life: family, friends, and, of course, music,” he says. “I figure if we have to spend this time in isolation at least we can be alone together.”

Vinyl, CD and digital formats will all be available from release day, while a limited edition coloured vinyl will be found at US independent music retailers.
