It was in 2016 when Axl Rose stepped into AC/DC‘s Rock Or Bust tour after frontman Brian Johnson was advised to stand down on doctors’ orders. “My doctors have told me that I can continue to record in studios and I intend to do that,” Johnson said, defiantly, in a statement at the time.
“For the moment, my entire focus is to continue medical treatment to improve my hearing. I am hoping that in time my hearing will improve and allow me to return to live concert performances. While the outcome is uncertain, my attitude is optimistic. Only time will tell.”
He is indeed back in the fold now and, along with fellow returnees Phil Rudd and Cliff Williams, as well as Angus and Stevie Young, is ready to PWR UP with a teaser clip of their new single Shot In The Dark on the band’s socials today:
