Like everyone else, organisers of Sheffield’s brand new festival Get Together are, ‘looking forward to a time when music fans are once again able to share the joy of being in the same space and sharing the excitement of live music’ after announcing the start of their inaugural line-up today.

Tim Burgess, The Murder Capital, Working Men’s Club, Pillow Queens, TV Priest, Martha Hill, Baba Ali and Happyness are some of the names on an impressive first round of artists who’ve signed up for Sheffield University’s Students’ Union between May 1st-2nd, an opportunity for Tim Burgess to host some very different listening parties next year after he recently unveiled another collection of solo material, the Ascent Of The Ascended EP.

“We had so many plans for playing live this year – from South by Southwest to Glastonbury and everything in between,” he said. “But that wasn’t to be. We played four shows in New York before lockdown happened – so our session for Paste Magazine was such a rare event, we’ve included the songs to complete the EP.”
