More than a decade of ups, downs and most importantly an overarching independent spirit should have provided Little Comets with better preparation than most for what 2020 has thrown at the music world.

Long ensconced on their own label and in their own studio, whilst many others around them face up to the new challenges of the, ahem, new normal, this band will have seen little new in having to take control of their own destiny, and after a few months ‘spent avoiding each other for only the very best of reasons’, the trio are back with a single and plans for a fifth album in early 2021.

“We love the way the chorus is lyrically strange yet clear in the image it paints as it emerges from a more ethereal verse,” Rob Coles says of Baywatch. “The soundscape is also more unusual for us, and Baywatch should be a great one to play live as it has lots of energy.”

“Sharing new songs is a part of being in a band which is always really exciting,” Matt Hall adds. “With everyone feeling like they’ve been cooked up and stressed for far too long, the upbeat feel of Baywatch will hopefully bring a much needed smile to people’s faces.”
