First clip shared of new Alan McGee biopic Creation Stories

Creation Stories

The first clip of Nick Moran’s film adaptation of Alan McGee‘s Creation Stories memoir has been premiered.

Going back to the chaos of the legendary label’s early days, the trailer features Ewen Bremner as McGee, leading a cast which also includes Suki Waterhouse, Jason Isaacs, Jason Flemyng, Paul Kaye, Steven Berkoff, Thomas Turgoose and Ed Byrne.

“Creation Stories is a modern day fable. Part cautionary tale, part cavalier romp, mostly hilarious, occasionally sobering and constantly engaging,” Moran has said.

“An irresistible trip down memory lane, or a delightful history lesson about the last great days of Rock & Roll. When Britannia ruled the airwaves, thanks to one man with his misfit mates and their indie record label that briefly changed history. It is shamelessly entertaining and I hope, a joy for everyone!”

Contributing to the Brit-star vibe is Irvine Welsh, who has written the screenplay with Dean Cavanagh.
