Big names such as Bruce Springsteen and Josh Homme came together around the world on August 21st to celebrate the music of Joe Strummer and concurrently raise money for the #SaveOurStages campaign.

“To see so many musicians and artists come forward to honour Joe is really touching,” Lucinda Tait remarked. “Community was always important to him. Whether it was playing music with friends, organising all night campfires, or hijacking festivals, Joe was always focused on bringing people together.”

Groove Armada have handed a release date to their new album Edge Of The Horizon.

Tom Findlay and Andy Cato made their return back in May with the classic nineties vibes of Get Out On The Dancefloor, featuring streams of consciousness from  Empire Of the Sun frontman Nick Littlemore, and now have duly confirmed their first album in a decade will be out on October 2nd.

Dizzee Rascal has confirmed the full details of his seventh album after announcing its title and release date on social media earlier in the week.

We’d known for a few days then that the record is called E3 AF and due out on October 9th, but we’ve now also got a full tracklist and collaboration details, while a track is streaming too entitled L.L.L.L (Love Life Live Large) which features one of those album guests, Chip.

Angel Olsen has released a new track which is set to feature on her Whole New Mess album, due for release on the 28th of this month.

Waving, Smiling was recorded in the October of 2018 at The Unknown in Anacortes, Washington, one of the new songs which will feature on Whole New Mess along side three intimate reworkings of cuts from last year’s widely acclaimed All Mirrors LP – namely Lark, Summer and Chance.
