Idles aired various tracks due to feature on their new album Ultra Mono and covered The Beatles and The Strokes as their Abbey Road sessions were live streamed during the weekend.

The minimalist, post-rock take on Reptilia might divide the crowd, but their cover of Helter Skelter stuck closer to convention as the band emerged from lockdown for their first live performances in months. The Ramones’ I Wanna Be Sedated was also covered, while Ultra Mono singles Mr. Motivator, Grounds, A Hymn and Model Village were performed across the three sets, as were other album tracks such as War and Kill Them With Kindness.

Meanwhile, Idles recently expanded the UK and Ireland tour they have planned for the spring of next year for a second time, and now have four nights booked at the Brixton Academy in London and three apiece in Glasgow, Dublin and Manchester.
