Fontaines D.C. have added a second Irish gig to the European touring plans they’re hoping to turn into reality during the spring and summer of 2021.

The band are aiming to get their new album A Hero’s Death out on the road by March next year, and then have UK dates booked for most of May 2021. It’s after those are completed that the Iveagh Gardens shows in Dublin will take place; the second date pencilled in for July 4th, 24 hours after the original night.

A Hero’s Death is, ‘what happens when people start to talk to each other again, a jigsaw of a human being put back together’, according to Live4ever’s review.
