Bright Eyes are at number one on the UK Record Store Chart with their comeback album Down In The Weeds Where The World Once Was.

Nubya Garcia has a high new entry too, while Fontaines D.C. stay in the Top 5 as a non-mover at #4. Elsewhere, PJ Harvey’s career-spanning reissue series continues to take places on the chart, and James Dean Bradfield is at #18 with his second solo LP Even In Exile.

The Official Charts Company launched the UK Record Store Chart in 2012 to reflect the last decade’s drive to support independent music outlets and the concurrent surge in vinyl sales. It is compiled from the best selling albums at 100 of Britain’s leading independent music shops.
