Like NOS Alive, Mad Cool organisers have made a first announcement for their 5th anniversary in 2021 after being forced to cancel this year, and like NOS Alive, Red Hot Chili Peppers have been revealed as headliners.

The US giants are a new name on the bill, as are Carly Rae Jepsen and Puscifer, with Taylor Swift the biggest act who’s been unable to make a return next year work.

Others planning on being in Madrid twelve months from now include Wolf Alice, London Grammar, Mumford & Sons and Royal Blood, while Angel Olsen is another performing at both NOS Alive and Mad Cool after the release of her All Mirrors album last year.

“Tonight is arguably the album’s eeriest track,” our review reads. “Harking back to the ‘folk night in a dimly lit countryside bar’ atmosphere at play on Olsen’s earlier works, this is the first aural sign that she is now cleansed of the emotional chains tying her to the past lover.”

“Wispy vocals make way for a moving string section outro before Chance draws a near-masterpiece of a record to a striking conclusion with a lengthy rival to Skeeter Davis’ The End Of The World in its majestic purveyance of hazy 60’s pop balladry.”
