New video premiered for Creedence Clearwater Revival’s classic Long As I Can See The Light

Cosmos Factory

When the 50th anniversary reissue of Creedence Clearwater Revival’s classic 1970 album Cosmo’s Factory was announced last month, fans were invited to contribute their memories of fathers, grandfathers or other life guardians for a new video of its affirming closer Long As I Can See The Light.

That video has now been shared, and is streaming below.

“We’re honored to unveil this special fan-generated video for the beloved Cosmo’s Factory closer, Long As I Can See The Light,” a message accompanying the promo reads. “In the lead-up to Father’s Day 2020, Creedence fans worldwide were encouraged to submit videos and photos documenting cherished memories with their fathers, grandfathers or other guiding lights in their life. Warm thanks for all the incredibly moving fan contributions.”

The anniversary re-release is due on August 14th, out as a ‘half speed’ version on 180-gram vinyl after the remastering process was helmed by engineer Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios .
