Radiohead will be officially uploading their fondly remembered Bonnaroo Festival gig of 2006 to YouTube later today.

Three years on from Hail To The Thief, the Bonnaroo appearance finds Radiohead back on the road after hitting one of their familiar studio brick walls during the recording of what would become In Rainbows.

Their plan to break the deadlock certainly worked, with stellar performances of tracks such as Weird Fishes/Arpeggi, Nude and House Of Cards on show – tracks which ultimately underpinned what proved to be a modern classic album upon its innovative release in October 2007.

“This week something new: we’ve tracked down the original desk audio for our Bonnaroo show,” Jonny Greenwood has written on social media. “Filmed in 2006 in Tennessee it’s easily, comfortably, the best festival experience I’ve ever had in America. I hope the heat, dust, and smell of fine Southern whiskey comes over as well as the songs – and I hope that we get back to live music soon.”
