Bob Dylan has announced his new album Rough And Rowdy Ways for release on June 19th.

It’ll be Dylan’s first collection of original material since the widely acclaimed Tempest of 2012 after a run of covers LPs between 2015-2017.

The news follows two singles which have been shared in recent weeks; Murder Most Foul, a 17-minute, piano-led piece, a study on the sixties which took its lead from the assassination of John F. Kennedy.

“Greetings to my fans and followers with gratitude for all your support and loyalty over the years,” a statement read when unveiling the track. “This is an unreleased song we recorded a while back that you might find interesting.”

I Contain Multitudes then arrived last month, the inspiration on this one being the revered New York poet Walt Whitman.
