Kate Tempest was accompanied by Dan Carey yesterday for an at-home performance of People’s Faces on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

One of Live4ever’s top tracks of last year, it was an undoubted highlight of Tempest’s The Book Of Traps And Lessons album – something she recognised herself whilst in conversation with mxdwn:

“All I can say is that I hope it connects. I think that’s all you can really hope for a piece of work. To have some connecting power. That people connect with themselves when they hear your experience and that it helps them connect with everyone around them. That’s why I love making music. I don’t know what questions I want them to ask but I hope they recognize the elements of those experiences and feelings that help them connect.”
