Our latest Track Of The Week comes from Jade Hairpins.
The band’s new single (Don’t Break My) Devotion is taken from their forthcoming album Harmony Avenue, which will be released on May 29th via Merge Records. It’s described by bandleader Jonah Falco as a, ‘technicolor burst through the plastic age, outlying the exhaustion of bad decisions and failures to communicate, all wrapped up in a cornucopia of bubblegum, new wave, disco, and post-punk’.
The video was directed by Mike Haliechuk and showcases their full line-up for the first time with Tamsin M Leach and Jack Goldstein also on board.
Harmony Avenue was written and recorded by Falco and Haliechuk with the same team who recorded their most recent F*cked Up LP Dose Your Dreams.
