The National to release High Violet on vinyl for first time to mark 10th anniversary

The National will release a 10th anniversary, 3LP version of their High Violet album on June 19th.

This will make the album available on vinyl for the first time, offering up its now-well loved tracks such as Terrible Love, Bloodbuzz Ohio and England along side alternate takes and a side consisting of live versions of two of the aforementioned songs, as well as Anyone’s Ghost.

The announcement has been marked with the premiere of The National’s D.A. Pennebaker and Chris Hegedus-directed film High Violet Live From Brooklyn Academy Of Music (BAM), recorded on May 10th, 2010, on YouTube.
