Paul Weller has confirmed his latest solo album On Sunset will be released on June 12th.

Weller’s first after signing with Polydor, it’ll be supported with a late autumn tour of the UK which adds to the previously announced May run of dates which are due to start in Cambridge.

New Order and Pet Shop Boys will embark on a co-headline tour of North America later this year.

Two bands inextricably linked by genre, era and collaboration, their joint tour will begin on September 5th in Toronto, while there’s another Canadian date in Vancouver on the 24th. The rest of the tour focuses on the US, and is due to end at the Hollywood Bowl on October 2nd.

Orlando Weeks has unveiled his first solo single, entitled Safe In Sound.

Following on from the Maccabees frontman’s multimedia Gritterman project, the track was written in 2018 as Weeks and his partner awaited the arrival of their first child. “I was witness to this momentous event in our lives and didn’t want that to go unmarked in the work that I do,” he recalls.

The Black Keys will follow their May tour of Canada with a long run of US dates which will keep them busy for most of the summer.

The duo have already been stage regulars since the rapid release of their Let’s Rock album last year, and the newly announced dates have been confirmed to open in Seattle, Washington on July 7th.

Taylor Swift has self-directed the video for The Man, taken from her recent album Lover.

It comes with 2020 tour dates set to open at the Capital One Jam Fest in Atlanta, Georgia in April, building up to the headline appearance at Glastonbury in the UK on June 28th.

Kendrick Lamar, The Strokes, HAIM and Brittany Howard have brought the announcements for this year’s Roskilde Festival to an epic conclusion.

Also completing the bill for the Denmark event, which will be held between June 27th- July 4th, are the likes of The Roots, DaBaby, Ride, Charli XCX, Bicep, Big Thief, Tinariwen, Perfume Genius and Waxahatchee, while Dave is on there too soon after his debut Psychodrama picked up the Brit Award for Best Album.
