Mumford & Sons will be a part of the Teenage Cancer Trust series later this month.

Supported by The Big Moon, the band’s show on March 23rd adds to the other confirmed dates for the likes of Noel Gallagher and Stereophonics, while organiser Roger Daltrey is also on the list of performers with Pete Townshend after the release of their first Who album since 2006 late last year.

“This album is almost all new songs written last year, with just two exceptions,” Townshend said of it. “There is no theme, no concept, no story, just a set of songs that I (and my brother Simon) wrote to give Roger Daltrey some inspiration, challenges and scope for his newly revived singing voice. Roger and I are both old men now, by any measure, so I’ve tried to stay away from romance, but also from nostalgia if I can.”
