Boy Azooga have shared their cover of Jim Sullivan’s track UFO as they continue to craft a follow-up to 2018’s debut album 1, 2, Kung Fu!.
It’s come complete with a video directed by On Par Productions, and Davey Newington has said he was introduced to the track, ‘last year by Tom Friend in Friendly Records’. “It has become one of my favourite ever albums since,” he continued. “Hope we did it some justice! Would like to dedicate this version to Pete, safe voyage on your UFO.”
Boy Azooga returned in November last year with the brand new single O Silly Me, described by them at the time as being, ‘about worry: written when worried that might hopefully ease some worry for other worriers’.
1, 2, Kung Fu! was one of Live4ever’s albums of 2018 – ‘a snapshot already due to be pasted into a scrapbook left under someone’s bed’.
