Anna Calvi has shared two more of the collaborations which feature on her re-imagined version of Hunter which has been released today.

One of the best albums of 2018 is out in a new guise today as Hunted, including contributions from Joe Talbot of Idles and Julia Holter which have both now been picked out for YouTube.

“Julia has such an amazing ability to colour her music in unexpected ways,” Calvi contends. “Her creativity and originality always astound me. I had no idea she was going to do a choral piece on Swimming Pool. But I was so pleasantly surprised when I heard it back. She’s added something so unexpected and yet something that feels so beautiful and perfect for this song. She is a unique talent.”

“Joe has such a visceral urgent energy which felt so right for Wish. However, when I heard what he sang on this song I was also amazed to hear a vulnerability to his voice that I hadn’t heard before and I found it really beautiful. Idles are one of my favourite bands so it was a dream collaboration for me.”
