Third Man Records has announced a 20th anniversary, vinyl-only reissue of The White Stripes‘ De Stijl album.

The precursor to Jack and Meg White’s commercial breakthrough White Blood Cells, the duo’s second studio record contains just as many delights as that more widely revered follow-up, and they’ll of course be plenty more on offer from Third Man in the annniversary package, including 30 previously unreleased tracks.

Also on there is the 2001 New Year’s Eve concert at Magic Stick in Detroit – one of the rare occasions when the White Stripes employed a bass player for their equally rare covers of AC/DC’s Let There Be Rock and Dog Eat Dog.
