The Streets and Royal Blood have joined Ian Brown on the bill for this year’s Victorious Festival.

As well as these two new headliners, the likes of Nile Rodgers & Chic, Bombay Bicycle Club and Blossoms have been added to the Portsmouth, UK event between August 28th-30th.

The booking continues Royal Blood’s gradual reemergence as the wait for a follow-up to 2017’s How Did We Get So Dark? goes on. “Sometimes the best answer to the question about what’s key to your success is that you don’t know the answer,” our album review reads.

“Royal Blood, like their hometown soccer team Brighton, have just reached the Premier League in their respective field, and now you feel would be time to reveal a grander design. How Did We Get So Dark? offers plenty of evidence of the qualities that got them there and its integrity isn’t open to question. The reality however, is that it leaves them in 2017’s musical safe space, in stasis where the only worry is whether they’re going to be above or below The Courteeners on some European festival bill.”
