Sports Team have confirmed the details of their debut album which will be released on April 3rd.
The earworm singles such as Fishing and The Races which have been pushing the band on for the past few months are included on Deep Down Happy along with ten other new tracks led by its latest cut, Here’s The Thing.
“I don’t think we were conscious of doing it but the album maps the journey of moving in together in Harlesden, moving back to home towns to sleep on floors for 18 months, then coming back to London, weighing up whether being in a band with your mates, being young in London is still the best thing in the world,” frontman Alex Rice says. “I think it probably is.”
