Damon Albarn

Damon Albarn has announced a second London date for his latest project The Nearer The Fountain, More Pure The Stream Flows.

Inspired by the landscape of Iceland, where Albarn has frequently visited since his earliest days with Blur, the project is set to be launched with European dates starting in Brussels on May 7th; added to them today is a show at the London Palladium on June 3rd which will follow the sold out gig at the city’s Barbican venue on May 26th.

The Nearer The Fountain, More Pure The Stream Flows was written and composed entirely in Iceland and takes its name from the John Clare poem Love and Memory.
