The Strokes have added a few more North American gigs to their plans for 2020.

It probably said a lot about how the band will look back on the last ten years when Julian Casablancas told the crowd at their new year gig in Brooklyn that they had ‘taken the 2010s off’ despite releasing the Angles and Comedown Machine studio albums in 2011 and 2013 respectively.

But it also spoke to their desire for the new decade to start better than the last, and with a new album promised by Casablancas at that Barclays Center gig too, new shows in Vancouver, Seattle and Los Angeles have been arranged for March to go with European festival appearances and more which are already confirmed.
