Liam Gallagher has unveiled a video for Once starring former footballer Eric Cantona to launch his new EP Acoustic Sessions.

“I’m absolutely thrilled to have Eric Cantona, the last rock ‘n’ roll footballer, star in my video for Once,” Gallagher says. “Songs like this don’t come around very often and neither do football players like him.”

Once is on the EP in two forms, this and its original demo version. “It’s my favourite version; it’s silky smooth and it’s fizzy bubblech,” Gallagher believes. “Turn off your mind, relax and float downstream!”

Why Me? Why Not. album tracks Now That I’ve Found You, Alright Now and Meadow are included on the EP too, and of course the Oasis nostalgia market is tapped into with versions of Cast No Shadow, Stand By Me and Sad Song on there too.
