Ghostpoet has announced his new album I Grow Tired But Dare Not Fall Asleep.

A part of Live4ever’s 2010s retrospective, Obaro Ejimiwe’s first of the new decade will be released on May 1st. An entirely solo affair, the album was recorded, written, arranged and produced by Ghostpoet in London, though his knack for collaboration does remain with guest vocals from Art School Girlfriend, Skinny Girl Diet’s Delilah Holiday, SaraSara and Katie Dove Dixon.

“It’s a snapshot of where we’re at as a society I feel, we seem to have everything and nothing at all,” he says. “Infinite possibilities and choices galore but we seem set in stone, frozen in place, oblivious to the storm clouds in the distance.”

The lead single is Concrete Pony which comes with a video directed by Thomas James.
