The first Bombay Bicycle Club album in the best part of six years is set to arrive later this month and now, almost exactly twelve months on from when the band first reported the end of their hiatus, another track from Everything Else Has Gone Wrong has been shared.
“Happy New Year,” they’ve said when introducing I Can Hardly Speak. “We hope you’ve all recovered from the excesses of last night. If you’re hungover, dreading going back to work, or simply wallowing in shame, we have a tonic – another new song.”
“I Can Hardly Speak was one of the first songs to be written for the album. In fact, it was written while we were still touring So Long, See You Tomorrow in 2014, although we only rediscovered the demo this year when the album was nearly finished.”
