Kendrick Lamar, The Killers, Pet Shop Boys and Bad Bunny top the first line-up announcement for next year’s Bilbao BBK Live event.

The main acts will be joined in July 2020 by Caribou, Four Tet, Supergrass, Kelly Lee Owens, The Rapture, ionnalee, iamamiwhoami, Slowthai and plenty more.

Kendrick Lamar has become a regular at the summit of festivals around the world following the huge critical commercial successes of To Pimp a Butterfly and DAMN., and we were there at Leeds Festival last year when he performed along side the likes of Kings Of Leon and Dua Lipa.

“As for hip-hop, a lot is going on, but judging from the crowds it was Post Malone, N.E.R.D. and Kendrick Lamar who really hit the mark,” our review reads. “Post and N.E.R.D. have different ideas of what being a rockstar is, but both prove it in the same way. NERD’s set was a particular favourite, no one could match the sheer volume of classics, one after another.”

“Kendrick Lamar offered something a lot darker and a little more prophetic with a set that used pared-down theatricality to help the music genuinely resonate. Opener DNA set the scene and was unbeatably brilliant just for its sheer audacity and impact.”
