Grace Jones has been revealed as the curator for next year’s Meltdown Festival.

Jones joins a list of curators for the event which includes Robert Smith, David Byrne and Patti Smith, and will be handpicking the artists for London’s Southbank between June 12th-21st, 2020. “I am honoured to be curating next year’s Meltdown festival,” she says.

“Year after year, the festival continues to spread its colourful wings, allowing its curators to bring together an array of diverse talent not seen anywhere else. It’s about time I was asked to curate Meltdown darling, don’t you think?!”

Nile Rodgers put the line-up together for Meltdown earlier this year, resulting in performances from Johnny Marr, Jungle, Thundercat and plenty more. “To be able to curate and produce nine days of live music for the city of London, the UK and music enthusiasts visiting from all over the world is truly a dream come true,” he remarked.
