Haim‘s new single Now I’m In It has been premiered.
Teased yesterday on social media with a message from the band which explained the track is about ‘going through it, depression, not leaving the house type of shit’, it went up with an additional statement from Este. “Even when we’re writing about something dark or more serious, we like to tie it up in a bow so that there’s a bit of lightness to it,” she said.
“We want our music, and this song especially, to be the thing that helps you get through that rough time.”
This is the second new single of 2019 from Haim, following August’s Summer Girl. There’s been a collaboration with Charli XCX this year too, but no word yet on a successor to the second studio album Something To Tell You which came out in 2017.
