The shortlist for the 2019 UK Music Video Awards is out, and Idles, Dave and FKA twigs are some of the artists to have received nominations.

Idles’ promo for their standalone single Mercedes Marxist is up for Best UK Rock Video, while Dave’s Black is up for Best UK Urban Video and Dave himself is nominated for Best Artist. FKA twigs is also in the Best Artist category, and Cellophane will compete for Best UK Alternative Video.

The 12th annual UK Music Video Awards will take place at the London Roundhouse on October 23rd, hosted by Adam Buxton.
