Two new songs – Elastic Fantastic and Te Quiero Pero – feature on the Reverend & The Makers Best Of collection which will be released on September 20th. The former now has a video directed by Chris Shepherd which can been watched below.

“Every summer as a kid my family went to the Chapel St Leonard’s on holiday in a caravan,” Jon McClure recalls. “In the club at lunchtime they had the wrestling on and the referee doubled as the keyboard player in the turn at night. This is our daft attempt at revelling in those nostalgic memories from a bygone era, where our nanans would scream at Klondike Kate and Big Daddy and hit them with their handbags.

“There’s not really a reason why we did it. It Just seemed like a good idea, which is always the best reason to do anything right?”

The band head out on a UK tour in October and have agreed to support Shed Seven at Leeds’ First Direct Arena on December 7th.
