Liam Gallagher has the new UK Vinyl Singles Chart number one with One Of Us, the latest from his forthcoming second solo album Why Me? Why Not.

Bastille, Blur, Girl Band and Taylor Swift complete the Top 5, while Idles’ latest piece of unmissable fury, Mercedes Marxist, is at #6. The Top 20 also includes a string of Arctic Monkeys’ past glories, including Fluorescent Adolescent and Black Treacle.

Reflecting the surge in popularity of the traditional format, dedicated vinyl album and singles charts were launched by the Official Charts Company in 2016 with the singles chart compiled from sales of 7″ and 12″ records.
