Blur‘s Girls And Boys, part of the Parklife 25th anniversary releases, is the new number one on the UK Vinyl Singles Chart.

Idles have a high new entry too with their non-album single Mercedes Marxist, while the first taste of the next record from Elbow, Dexter & Sinister, is another to debut inside the Top 5.

Reflecting the surge in popularity of the traditional format, dedicated vinyl album and singles charts were launched by the Official Charts Company in 2016 with the singles chart compiled from sales of 7″ and 12″ records.
