Gruff Rhys has announced his new album Pang! for release on September 13th.

Described as ‘a pop album with a couple of verses of Zulu and an English title’, Pang! apparently developed unexpectedly over the course of 18 months and was produced and mixed by the South African electronic artist Muzi.

Rhys will be on tour in the US when Pang! comes out, and has UK dates booked for October.
