Frank Turner has set his latest album No Man’s Land for release on August 16th.

Produced by Catherine Marks and featuring all-female musicians, No Man’s Land will shine a light on the lives of various women from history, stories which ‘should have been told already’ according to Turner. “And I suspect if they were men they would be better known,” he says.

It starts with first single Sister Rosetta, about the blues/rock pioneer Rosetta Tharpe. “It’s bringing together my two main interests in life, which have always been separate from each other – history and songwriting,” Turner explains of the album.
