Ride will take their new album This Is Not A Safe Place around the UK during the early winter.

The second LP since the band’s 2014 reunion saw them working again with producer Erol Alkan and is due for release on August 16th. Later, on November 29th, the headline UK tour will open at the Norwich Waterfront, and move on from there into December at the Birmingham Institute. After further gigs in Oxford, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Newcastle, Southampton, London and Leeds, it’ll close at the Manchester Ritz on December 12th.

This Is Not A Safe Place is the follow-up to Weather Diaries, on which Ride proved they’re ‘still lightning in a bottle’ according to Live4ever:

“For a collection of songs which begin in shimmering rebirth, Weather Diaries closes in the plaintive reflectiveness of White Sands, in substance little more than a few picked chords.”
