The tour also visited Cambridge, Birmingham, Oxford, Blackburn, Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Nottingham and Cardiff during its run this month as they continued the push of an album which Live4ever said is full of ‘blissful neo-psychedelia’; “The opening track of the same name explodes like a blast of sunlight through grey clouds in an uncannily similar way to the Stone Roses, while In The Air is a dreamy, woozy ballad built around a piercing yet mournful guitar lick,” our review reads.
“The Britpop and Madchester comparisons are hard to avoid; on Do I Need You Now? vocalist Tommy O’Dell’s vocals eerily echo Tom Clarke of the The Enemy.”
