The Cure and The Killers have been named as the other two main stage headliners for Glastonbury 2019.

The bands join Stormzy at the tip of the Pyramid Stage, while plenty more have been added to the returning festival – these include Janet Jackson, George Ezra, Liam Gallagher, Miley Cyrus and Johnny Marr.

Another Rolling Stones compilation will be released on April 19th.

Honk will bring together some of their best known tracks from 1971 onwards and much more recent live recordings which bring Ed Sheeran, Dave Grohl, Florence Welch and Brad Paisley into proceedings.

After making their rather abrupt comeback earlier this month with a single entitled Lo/Hi, The Black Keys have detailed a North American tour.

Modest Mouse will be the guests of Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney’s ‘Let’s Rock’ tour, while Jessy Wilson and Shannon & The Clams are along for select dates too.

Johnny Marr, Tom Grennan, Drenge, The Futureheads, Jade Bird, Becky Hill, The Japanese House and Good Cop Bad Cop have all joined the line-up for Tramlines 2019.

The festival is returning to its permanent Hillsborough Park between July 19th-21st and already has Manic Street Preachers, Doves, Shame, Sleeper and many more signed up.

Liam Gallagher

Liam Gallagher has joined the 2019 edition of Eden Sessions.

Gallagher slots in on June 26th between Nile Rodgers & Chic and The Chemical Brothers, while there’ll also be a performance from Stereophonics that month and two from Kylie Minogue at the start of July.

Florence & The Machine, The Strokes, The 1975 and Hozier have been revealed as headliners for Electric Fields 2019.

There’s plenty more highlights to be found at Stradbally Hall in Ireland between August 30th-September 1st, with Christine And The Queens, Heavy Lungs and Let’s Eat Grandma some of the other names to be confirmed.

The Raconteurs will make their live return for Third Man’s 10th anniversary event in Nashville on April 6th.

The band’s first live outing in eight years is due to take place along side Lillie Mae, The Gories, Craig Brown Band, The Dirtbombs, Detroit Cobras and Quintron & Miss Pussycat, who have all been booked for performances.

He worked with them all, as they say. With The Beach Boys on Pet Sounds, with The Ronettes on Be My Baby, with Simon & Garfunkel on Mrs. Robinson, with Nancy Sinatra on These Boots Are Made for Walkin, with The Byrds’ on Mr Tambourine Man to name just a few.

Wrecking Crew drummer Hal Blaine lent his talents to over 35,000 recordings during his career, was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2000 and received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award last year.

At the age of 90, his death has been confirmed.
