Foals have released a video for Moonlight as they await confirmation of their first UK number one album.
Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost – Part 1 was heading there in the midweeks with the latest album chart set to be revealed later today. The LP has been receiving rave reviews and, with Part 2 to come, Live4ever’s own noted that ‘once welded the complete picture may be their sleekest, most intoxicating yet‘; “Yannis Philippakis sounds like a man with a great deal on his mind,” it opens.
“‘I just feel like, what’s the utility of being a musician these days if you can’t engage with at least some of this stuff?’, he muses in the press release for the first part of Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost.”
“He then posits: ‘These songs are white flags, or they’re SOSs, or they’re cries for help…each in a different way’.”
It will be played in full at the O2 Academy in Leeds on May 23rd and the Pryzm in Kingston on June 27th.
