Yak went straight to number one on the UK Record Store Chart yesterday with their new album Pursuit Of Momentary Happiness.

It’s been another busy week of new entries for the chart, with Elder Island, AJ Tracey, Ward Thomas, Mercury Rev, Bob Mould, Michael Chapman and LCD Soundsystem all debuting inside the Top 10 too.




For the past few years, the Official Charts Company has been using the Record Store Chart to showcase the best selling weekly albums from 100 of Britain’s leading independent music shops.
