Tribes frontman Johnny Lloyd has confirmed the details of his debut full length Next Episode Starts In 15 Seconds.
Out on May 3rd, the album follows a clutch of EP releases and is being led off with the title-track which features backing vocals from Frank Turner. “Next Episode was the first song I wrote for the album and it just landed out of nowhere,” Lloyd remembers.
“It marked a real turning point. It’s all about trying to enjoy the moment and not succumb to this modern idea of constant success.”
“Everyone is different and that’s what makes life interesting, you don’t have to be anything or anybody you don’t want to be. It’s about trying to live in the moment.”
Tours of the UK and Europe are in the pipeline, but first up is an outing at the Omeara in London on February 15th as part of Brits Week gigs supporting War Child. He’ll also play Frank Turner’s Lost Evenings III event in Boston in May, and 2000 Trees in July.
