Tom Williams has shared the latest single from his new album What Did You Want To Be?, due out on March 29th via Wire Boat Recordings.
It’s Dark Now is online after being premiered on BBC 6Music earlier this week, and according to Williams is his nod to Oasis and the first album he bought:
“It’s got an immediacy that some of the other songs don’t have. It harks back to my first album, ‘What’s The Story’, bought on cassette, aged eight. And it’s got a bit of The Who, it’s straight down the line, and it was written in about 30 seconds.”
A tour of the UK is booked for April, and will visit Cardiff, Cambridge, Leeds, Newcastle, Sheffield, Glasgow, Oxford, Birmingham and London.
