After an impressive 2018 with Hope Downs and its singles such as Talking Straight – a Live4ever Track Of The YearRolling Blackouts Coastal Fever are back with a brand new track today.

In The Capital goes back to those Hope Downs sessions and is available now digitally, while a limited edition 7″ will follow on April 26th featuring a second A-side single, Read My Mind. “I first had the idea for the melody and some of the lyrics when I was swimming,” Fran Keaney remembers of In The Capital.

“It’s taken a while to finish the song, to make it feel like the initial feeling. I can’t neatly describe it, but something like connection despite distance. I was thinking about transience and water and death and big cities and fishing towns and moon river.”
