Gently Tender, the band formed by Palma Violets’ Sam Fryer, Pete Mayhew and Will Doyle with The Big Moon‘s Celia Archer and guitarist Adam Brown, have released a video for their recent single Some Hard Advice.
“This is the first video we have directed ourselves and it was created with the invaluable help of some very close friends of ours,” Fryer reveals. “We felt that a simple performance video was right for this song as we didn’t want to distract too much from the song itself.
“We wanted the soul of the song to come across, uncomplicated by over performance or over editing.”
Gently Tender have a headline gig at Oslo in London booked for March 6th. In April they’re at Are You Listening?, while more festival appearances are coming up in May and July.
