Everything Everything bass player Jeremy Pritchard will join up with Foals for the band’s impending live duties.

“While our friends Everything Everything are on a break before making new music, they have kindly loaned us their bass player Jeremy Pritchard, who will be touring with us this year,” Foals announced on Instagram.

Pritchard comes onboard after Foals were left without a bassist due to the departure of Walter Gervers a couple of Januarys ago. “To all our fans,” they wrote at the time. “Sadly we have to announce that our mate Water has decided to leave the band to pursue a new life. The parting has been sad but we remain firm friends. He’ll always be our brother, we love him and wish him well in his future endeavours.”

“We had 12 amazing years touring together from a small postal van to the Pyramid Stage and beyond. It’s the end of a chapter, but not the end of the book. We want to thank him for all his time and energy and passion and we want to thank you for all your support from the early days and into the future.”

There’s not long for Pritchard to wait; Foals begin their Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost touring in Manchester on March 4th.
