The Twilight Sad have released a video for VTr, the current single from their It Won/t Be Like This All The Time album which is out on January 18th.

It’s here thanks to a spark from bandmember Brendan Smith (with direction from Michael Sherrington) who says they were ‘keen to do something that felt like one of our gigs and to stay away from elaborate narratives or abstract concepts’. “Playing live is the exciting part for us and having a video that represents that was always the intention for ‘VTr’,” he continues.

“Working with Michael again was an easy decision, he really understands what we’re trying to do and has great ideas. We collaborated with him on the video for ‘I/m Not Here [missing face]’ and it’s important for us to have that consistency throughout.”

The band play in-store gigs around the UK to support their new album, and then have February shows at the Manchester Gorilla (27th) and Electric Ballroom in London (28th), as well as one on March 2nd at the Glasgow Barrowlands.
