Night Beats post video for One Thing, from new album Myth Of A Man

Night Beats have posted the video for their One Thing track.

The fingerprints of producer Dan Auerbach are all over this and the rest we’ve heard so far of the band’s new album Myth Of A Man, which is out on January 19th after sessions with the Black Keys guitarist and several veteran local musicians in Nashville.

This video was directed by Laura-Lynn Petrick who says it ’embodies the dissatisfaction of today’s generation’. “The film is rich with the alluring temptations Los Angeles has to offer,” she continues. “I find L.A is immortal – it has so many classic locations, straight out of my dreams – it is the perfect location for this film.”

“With Laura-Lynn as my partner in crime we explored the underbelly city of Los Angeles,” Night Beats’ Danny Lee Backwell adds.

“We hit up casinos, strip clubs and motels to capture the essence of debauchery and the illusion of decadence of Hollywood. ‘One Thing’ explores the charade of rock stardom and its lonely path.”
